MTG Arena draft

Find a draft or start one players come to you

Drafts Zone keeps open drafts in one list. Create your own privately for friends or publicly. Players will fill the seats themselves.

What you get

Less organizing, more playing

Everyone in view

See who joined, who's on the waitlist, and who's ready. No roll calls in chat.

Draftmancer in one click

The host saves the link once, and it appears for every player after the draft starts.

Handles in one place

Every participant's MTG Arena ID is visible before the draft. No need to message anyone.

Telegram bot

Create lobbies, invite players, and check seats, straight from Telegram.

The waitlist runs itself

If someone leaves the lobby, the waitlist promotes the next player automatically. No manual slot juggling.

Table rules

What to know before drafting

1

Public or private

Public lobbies appear in the lobby browser. Private lobbies are reachable by direct link, and the host can open a private lobby to public access.

2

Registration deadline

The host chooses when registration closes. After the deadline, players cannot join, leave, or take a waitlist spot – the roster is locked.

3

Ready check before start

Once all seats are filled, a Ready button appears for players. Press it when you can play. After the draft starts, the Draftmancer link becomes visible to participants.

4

Host's role

The host saves the Draftmancer link, sees player readiness, and starts the draft when everyone is ready. They can transfer the host role to another player. If the host leaves the lobby, ownership passes to the participant who claimed a seat earliest.

5

Multiple drafts at once

If you already have an ongoing draft, joining another is blocked. The lobby closes manually by the host or automatically 2 hours after the draft starts. If one lobby deadline is close to another, the system warns you but does not block joining.

6

Removing players

The host can remove a player from a waiting or full lobby. After removal, that player cannot rejoin the lobby or be promoted from the waitlist.

FAQ

Common questions

What do I need to install?+

Draftmancer and MTG Arena accounts – Drafts Zone runs in the browser and on Telegram, nothing to install. Before your first join, set your MTG Arena ID in your profile – without it you can't claim a seat.

Can I play with friends only?+

Yes. Create a private lobby. It's reachable only through the direct link. Share the link with your friends, and no one else can claim a seat.

How long does a draft take?+

The draft itself on Draftmancer takes about 30 minutes. Plus matches in Arena. A full session usually fits in 1 to 2 hours.

What happens when a lobby is full?+

You can join the waitlist and take a seat if someone leaves.

What happens if the host leaves?+

The lobby keeps running and host ownership moves to the oldest remaining participant.
